Collating assessment data

1 min read

Once you’ve created an assessment, you need to collate all the answers for each knowledge area.

From the assessment page, you will see a card for each knowledge area organized into three tabs:

  • START lists the knowledge areas that are yet to have any questions answered. Click on START to answer the questions for each card.
  • IN PROGRESS shows the knowledge areas that have some or all questions answered, but have not yet been submitted as complete. Once you start answering questions, knowledge area cards will automatically move into this section. You can click on CONTINUE on any of these cards to answer further questions, review the answers you’ve already given, or change any answers.
  • COMPLETE shows the knowledge areas that have had all their questions answered, and have been marked as COMPLETE.

For further information on answering the questions and completing a knowledge area, see Answering questions.

You may not be the appropriate subject matter expert to answer all of the questions in an assessment, so you can assign individual knowledge areas to other people, so that they can answer the questions.

  1. Ensure that the person you want to assign to is on the platform – see Adding users.
  2. On any knowledge area card, click the menu icon (three vertical dots), and choose Assign user.
  3. Pick the person you want to assign from the drop-down, and then click Assign. If you have a long list of users, once you have opened the drop-down list, you can start typing their name to find them in the list.

NOTE: Assigning a user does not notify them – you should use Share option from the knowledge area car menu and send them the link.
