Microsoft 365

The platform natively supports Microsoft Authentication, which means that if you have a work or school or personal Microsoft account, it can be used to login, depending on how your tenant has been provisioned.

Whichever type of account you are using, this means that the platform never needs to know your passwords. Instead it uses a standard method called OIDC (OpenID Connect) to ask Microsoft to confirm your identify. This is much more secure, and means you don’t have to setup and remember another password.

If you are using a work or school account, an administrator will need to give consent on behalf of your organization to allow the platform to ask Microsoft to confirm your identity. This is a simple process: all they have to do is to try to login to your tenant, and – if they have the appropriate authority – Microsoft will ask them to provide this consent. After that, anyone from your organization will be able to login.
